What a great day for golf! The run today must have been spectacular as were some of the scores. You had to score better than nett par to win a prize with 11 scores of 37 or more. The balls today went down to 34 on a countback.

Everyone managed to tee off on time today, and the changeovers at 10:30 and 1:30 were also managed on time. However, it has been noted that there were groups in the second timeslot who lost three holes. So even though everything looks good, there are still issues with slow play causing bank ups in the field.

It is essential that you keep up with the group in front of you! We will be monitoring this over the next few weeks and if this cannot be managed, then we will lose tee times.

On a more pleasant note the birthday girls this week are Di Ind on Saturday 4th and Denise Earthrowl today. Hope you celebrate in style.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
