SECRET PARTNER results 16th September.

 Well the first questions to be answered today were.... who got Janice for a partner and did she have enough for them to be in the winners circle for the 4Ball aggregate???

The answers are.... Julie Taylor and YES she did, so that their combined score of 66 was the outright winning score! 

The next three places were all on a total of 65, so yet again, we had a tricky countback. Would you believe, all three pairs had the same back nines of 31, so the countback continued to last 6 aggregate.

The final winning positions are therefore

1st Janice Adlard and Julie Taylor  66

2nd Di Connolly and Sandra Nash 65 on a countback (with 23 for the last 6)

3rd  Trace O'Meara and Elaine Clarke also on 65 on a countback (with 20 for the last 6)

4th  Jenny Fletcher and Denise Newman on 65 (with 19 for the last 6)


LUCKY CARD went to VICKI DUESBURY, for the second time!! How lucky are you!

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
