Information for Monday 11th Oct

Good afternoon,

 

Below is a brief update on the requirements in which the club will operate under when it reopens on Monday 11th October that relate to our golfing members.

 

To enter the club, you must be a financial member and live within the Central Coast LGA. A member can bring with them one visitor each (children can be additional) which also resides within the Central Coast LGA. Members must also sign into the club using the facial recognition system and have their temperature taken.

 

All members and visitors over the age of 16 years must be fully vaccinated.

We have also been notified of the requirements of what are acceptable forms of proof of vaccination to enter a registered club. I have attached a document which shows these forms and maybe useful for your members to see. If they have forms that do not match the accepted proof, they can arrange to get the correct documents prior to us opening on Monday. Additionally, this also shows what the medical exemption form looks like, known as a COVID-19 Vaccine Medical Contraindication.

 

Please make your members aware that they will be required to show an accepted form of vaccination when entering the club even if this has already shown this at the pro shop or previously sent this via email to the club to update their golf records. They will only need to provide this proof of vaccination once after which the clubs sign in system will identify them as having previously provided proof of vaccination or exemption.

 

Below are the contact details for the Australian Immunisation Register which if a member does not have online access to gain their proof of vaccination, they can call the number and request a printed copy is posted to them. This could take up to 14 days.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
