MESSAGE FROM CEO AND THE BOARD re: Playing Golf from 11th October

 Please be advised that the Board has approved the following information effective as of the 11th October, being the day that they plan to return to trading within the club and on the Bowling greens.

We will be allowed groups of four for all rounds of golf, on the proviso that golfers must be a member of Breakers Country Club and be fully vaccinated or have a medical exemption that must be presented to the club for approval.

The club will require social members to present proof of vaccination prior to starting and all will still be required to QR scan into the pro shop. 

The same rules apply to the pro shop as they do to enter the club.

1.Must be a member who resides in the local LGA.

2.Must be fully vaccinated.

3.Must not have any COVID symptons

4. And any other Health regulations that apply at the time.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
