 Unfortunately the rain came just in time for most people to get a wet tail. However, we all managed to finish, and yet again, there were plenty of good scores.

Congratulations in particular to Di Ind and Christa Cleary who were both in the hole for 2 on the 15th for their NTPs. Christa's was a gobbler!

Just a reminder to please rake the bunkers now that we are allowed to do so. It's not fair on the following groups if you leave footprints or divots.

Let's hope you all remembered that we are now booking in for the following Thursday either in the club or on the portal at 3pm each Thursday.

Also, a little reminder that we are taking bookings for the Christmas luncheon on Thursday 9th December. Tables of 6 -- $40 per head. You can pay Deanne online or by cash next week.

If you have your Team of 4 for Closing Day on Thursday 2nd December, please contact Michelle. It will be a 7.30 Shotgun start and we will be doing a random draw for starting holes. This is also our Charity Day so don't forget to bring your money for Cheat Sheets and raffle tickets. Hopefully, for those interested, we can have a Kris Kringle afterwards, with a $10 limit. More details to come.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
