TOMORROW'S GOLF

 At the time of writing, the weather does not look at all good for golf. Let's hope it improves overnight and tomorrow is a nice sunny day.

Either way, we will post information asap in the morning.

Please note, if we do play, that there is no longer GUR on the right side of the 9th fairway, although the markings may still be there. It is still GUR near the temporary green.

Fingers crossed for a return to nice weather tomorrow. If not, you can always join us for coffee or lunch at the club.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
