CCWGA Opening Day

 Morning ladies I received this email last night from the captain of the district forwarding your group scoring code for Golf Genius. So if you prefer just 1 lady to score instead of everyone having their phones out please use the code attached below for your group. Hopefully this will save time on the morning.

We are looking forward to CCWGA Opening Day at Breakers on Monday 14th Feb.

 

Here are some tips in getting the Golf Genius App.

 

Step 1 . In preparation for Mondays event please download the Golf Genius App from either the Apple Store or Google Play.

 

       Note: If you already have the app please log out and login with the Group GGID Code.

 

Step 2. Log in using the Group GGID code, provided on the attached info sheet.

 

Step 3.  Select your name and follow the prompts.

 

 

You will also be recieving a paper scorecard as well on the day so if you prefer to score using a card please do so. If you use a scorecard you will need to enter your scores in the app at the end of the round or bring to the CCWGA desk for entry.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. The link to that page is below: https://fundraise.hollows.org/fundraisers/jennychapman   The Fred Hollows Foundation works in over 25 countries and has helped over 3 million people. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
