Opening Day

 Things to note for Opening Day this Thursday.

 Please arrive early keeping in mind every one will be paying  on the day and everyone needs to be on the appropriate tee for a 7:30am start. 

The event on the day is a Team of 4 two scores to count. Please play and score  as a normal stableford, swapping with a marker. The computer will pick up the team score from the cards. There will be no individual competition.

Sandwich orders will need to order and pay Nicky when paying comp fee. You will need your Breakers card to swipe for discount to pay $6.50 otherwise you will be charged $7.10.

We will have a raffle and the 100's club available in the club after your game so have your coins ready.

The committee is providing Champagne and orange juice on arrival in the club.

As we have enough material still available for 20 club shirts, we will be taking orders on Thursday. Preference will be given to our new members. Cost $60 to be  paid on ordering. There are a few S size already available at the same price. See Gill Wilson for details, measurements and ordering. 

Please be mindful of numbers in the pro shop. Masks must be worn and QR checkin is required.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
