Pennants 2022

 Hello ladies pennants starts in March. This Thursday a sheet will be circulating for anyone interested in playing this year. The dates each match will be played are: Monday's March 16th, 21st and 28th. April 4th and May 16th. Can you check your diaries for availability and fill in the form on Thursday. If you won't be there this Thursday please send a text message to Gill Wilson letting her know your availability.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. The link to that page is below: https://fundraise.hollows.org/fundraisers/jennychapman   The Fred Hollows Foundation works in over 25 countries and has helped over 3 million people. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
