Thursday 10th March

 Ladies we have made the decision to not run a comp/fun day next week. We have been offered time slots from 8:30am till 10:30am however this would mean we would be following the coring machinery on certain holes and be held up at different times waiting for greens to be free. We also took into consideration the amount of rain we have had and still forecasting more to come. Safety was our biggest consideration and feel the course would not be a safe place for our members to be.

Your committee always has all ladies in mind when making these decisions and appreciate your support. We will keep you updated with anything arising that affects your golf. Stay safe and I look forward to playing golf with you in better conditions.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
