MEMBER NUMBERS AND GOLFLINK NUMBERS

 Hi Ladies,

I have been asked quite a few questions lately about our new Mounties member numbers and whether our Golflink numbers will change, so I just want to clarify a few things.

Firstly, you will be aware that your new Mounties number, the number on your Membership card, is very similar to your previous Breakers number. Some people have been saying that you just add an 8 to the front but this is not true in all cases.

The fact is that the Mounties number is 6 numbers in total, so if your original number had 5 digits, such as 23417, then it is now 823417. But if you originally had 4 digits, such as 1482 then you add 80 and it is now 801482. And again, if yours was only 3 digits, then you add 800 so 342 would become 800342

As for our golflink numbers, they will stay the same as they were

Golflink numbers are always 10 digits long, starting with the Breakers prefix of 20805 then your original Breakers member number with zeros at the start, if necessary, to make 5 digits after that. eg My member number was 567 so my Golflink number is 20805 00567

Hope that clarifies things a little!

Jenny
