Qualifier Off but single stableford on

 Hi Ladies,

With a bit of early rain and the forecast still not good, the match committee have decided to postpone the Debbie Gaunt qualifying event to a date to be fixed.

However, some of you may wish to play so there will be a single stableford event on instead.

This will allow you to make your own decision as to whether you wish to brave the conditions. Also, if you didn't have a partner, you can now ring the pro shop and put your name down if you feel the need for a hit.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
