TWO REMINDERS

RULE REMINDER

Accidentally touching your ball as you take a practice swing or as you are lining up to play your shot.

*If this happens on the putting green, there is no penalty but the ball must be replaced on its original spot, which if not known for sure, must be estimated.  (Rule 13.1d)

*If this happens in the teeing area, and the ball falls off the tee, it can be re-teed anywhere in the teeing area without penalty. (Rule 6.2b(5))

*If this happens elsewhere on the course, there is a one stroke penalty and the ball must be replaced on its original spot (Rule 9.4b)

So, players should take care when near any ball at rest.  (Purpose of Rule 9)

CHANGE OF PERSONAL DETAILS REMINDER

If you have had any change of personal details such as phone number, address or email, it is necessary to let both the club office know, as well as the committee, as the two computer systems are separate. We need to change these details within the Micropower system.

Cheers,

Jenny
