SATURDAY PRIZES

 Hi Ladies,

I have been asked by several ladies why winners of Ladies Saturday singles don't get the same prize each week.

Firstly, it does depend on whether there is a team event as well. If there is, the singles prizes are less, as some of the money will go to the team prize winners.

Secondly, it will depend on how many women play. The more people in the event, the more money is awarded. Sometimes this may appear as more for each of the winners or it may be more winners, again depending on the total players.

Hopefully that helps a little.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
