 WYONG LADIES CLASSIC AND SHIELD UPDATE FROM WYONG CAPTAIN

After much consideration, the team at Wyong have decided to once again postpone the Wyong Classic & Shield from May 27 until OCTOBER 21, 2022
Although the course is slowly improving from the flooding and continued high rainfall, we are concerned that we will not be able to offer the use of carts, which many of the players have requested. We trust that our course will be returned to pristine condition by then.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support at this difficult time.
Entries will be transferred to this new date. However, full refunds will be given to anyone who requests it.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
