What a fabulous day to be on the golf course today!! Despite the weather report, the sun shone and it was just lovely. 

Congratulations to the winners today - especially all those ladies who had gobblers and birdies!

Next week is a singles event with a team of 4 in conjunction. Each group will be given a team card to score for the PINK ball, as well as their individual cards. 



Each player takes the pink ball in the order they are on the score card, i.e. Player 1 uses it on the first, Player 2 uses it on the second, etc. and so it goes on until the 18th or the pink ball is lost. The result for the pink ball is doubled and recorded on the team card. The individual card still has the regular stableford score on it.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
