Congratulations to Janice Adlard Champion for 2023


Congratulations to all our 2023 Champions. We look forward to presenting you all to our lady members on presentation day.

As most of you are aware Bronwyn and Michelle qualified to go to Bonville in November! We would like to make a special mention to Wendy Rogers and her partner Tim Chase coming 3rd in the mixed division.

Just a reminder next week our committee members are attending a presentation on course with the arrival of two AED's. So please gather upstairs in the sunset lounge after golf. If the committee are back in time they will do our presentation however this may not be possible.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. The link to that page is below: https://fundraise.hollows.org/fundraisers/jennychapman   The Fred Hollows Foundation works in over 25 countries and has helped over 3 million people. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
