Fundraising Today

 


Today we started our fundraising for our Pink Day next October. 

The  multitude of patchwork pieces, which were the prizes, were all generously made and donated by our life member Georgie Quill. Many thanks to Georgie - you are amazing!! There were big smiles across all the lucky winner's faces.

The table runner was auctioned off with a number of very competitive bidders vying to win it - the winner being Nicky. Thanks Nicky for your generosity.

Entry was by donation only and we raised a total of $351.90. Thanks to everyone who donated so generously.

Results for Foursomes 27 Hole Championships and 18 and 9 Hole Day Events 4th May 2023

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
