Its finally here and the sun looks like it's going to keep shining so we're all go for this weekend.
Here is the program for the weekend: 

Saturday AM:
Mounties will be putting on a egg and bacon roll at 7am prior to the shotgun hit off.
When you pay you will receive a drink ticket that can be redeemed in the club on the day.
Please be on your allocated tee ready to hit off at 7.30.

Saturday PM:
Mounties will be putting on a sausage sizzle at 12 noon prior to the shotgun hit off.
When you pay you will receive a drink ticket that can be redeemed in the club.
Please be on your allocated tee ready to hit off at 12.30.


Competitions on the day

Putting competition on the 5th and 7th ($50 worth of points for men and Ladies)
In the pro shop there will be a sheet with scorecards, count your putts on the 5th and 7th,
the players with the least putts will go in a draw for $50 in points to be placed on their cards
Note: A wipe is 3 putts and a chip in is 0 putts

Stableford points  on the 14th and 16th ($50 worth of points for men and Ladies)
In the pro shop there will be a sheet with scorecards, count your stableford points on the 14th and 16th.
Players with the most points will go in a draw for $50 in points to be placed on their cards

Extra Places paid
The prizes for the daily competition will be increased by 2 places over the 3 days

Come along and have a good day, please be considerate in the Saturday afternoon shotgun and keep moving along. 
As soon as the first 2 players have putted out please go to the next tee.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. The link to that page is below: https://fundraise.hollows.org/fundraisers/jennychapman   The Fred Hollows Foundation works in over 25 countries and has helped over 3 million people. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
