August Monthly Medal

 35 ladies played today and accepted the tricky conditions. Sleet and wind was accompanied by some sunshine.

Congratulations to Sandra Nash, Peggy Searle and Bev Milson who were our August Monthly Medal winners.

Next week is the Keno Ambrose and on the Saturday is the Mixed Keno Ambrose. If you wish to play in the mixed ,contact Sheryn Fuller.

The  27 Hole Foursomes Championships are on the 22nd August and entries are still open. 

Entries for the 18 hole daily comp for those who do not wish to play 27 holes will open on the 15th August

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
