Breakers Annual Visit to Toukley

 Morning everyone,

The annual Breakers visit to Toukley is upon us again.

This year it is on Tuesday 3rd September. Names need to be given to Aiki by 27th August. 

It will be a Par event (which we missed out on yesterday). 

You will be paired with Toukley ladies to play. This is a friendly day, but we do compete for a trophy.

If you need a cart, please call the Toukley Pro Shop on 02 4397 2309 to book one.

The cost will be $20 for the game, payable on the day.

For those ladies new to the club, this is a fun day and it is a very friendly atmosphere to play at another golf course.

Toukley are looking forward to seeing as many Breakers ladies as possible there.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. The link to that page is below: https://fundraise.hollows.org/fundraisers/jennychapman   The Fred Hollows Foundation works in over 25 countries and has helped over 3 million people. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
