Foursomes Championship 22nd August

 The Foursomes were finally played after being postponed from May. The course was still tough but the sun was shining.

The daily event winners were Bronwyn Dwyer and Michelle Hughes , nett 73.5 closely followed

 by Nell Spargo and Carole Malyon with 74 nett.

The Foursomes Champions are Bronwyn and Michelle. 

Runners up were Aiki and Peggy.

Nett Winners were Viv Ball and Laraine Williams with 113, followed by Nicki Draper and Nareda Leary on 113.75.

The 9 hole daily comp winners were Karen Gallaher and Susan Frankham,36.25 followed by Elaine Clarke and Briohny Kennedy on 36.75

Mounties are awarding Club Champions with a Jacket which will be presented at their Sports Presentation at Mt Pritchard on 25 th October. 

Our prizes will be awarded at our Presentation Day in December.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
