Ladies Keno Ambrose 8/8/24

Today was a beautiful sunny day with 50 ladies playing and the course on the improve.  Congratulations to all our winners.  The top prize today went to Bronwyn Dwyer & Michelle Hughes closely followed by Linda Ball & Karen Gallaher.  Both these teams will now compete in the 2nd round of the Keno later in the year.  

Due to it being a team event today, the NTP's have been individually added to your account and do not appear on the prize report.

Great to see so many ladies today and hopefully we will have a good turn up for the PAR event next week.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
