Thursday 19th Comp and Information discussed at Presentation.


 

For our first Stableford event for the year we had 45 ladies play 18 holes and 4 played 9 holes.

Congratulations to Div 1 winner Susan Frankham 41 points R/up Karen Gallaher 35 points. Div 2 winner Suzanne Carter 38 points R/up Nell Spargo 35 points and Div 3 winner Debbie Collie 41 points R/up Pauline Norman 35 points. Our 9-hole winner was Denise Earthrowl 15 points.

Thank you, Nicki, for gathering size information for new shirts while running the Pro shop. In regard to new shirts, we are gathering sizes now. The brand shirt is Sport Leisure, and sizes are in the Pro shop to try on. If you know you didn't play today, can you over the next week please do so. This can be done on Saturday before golf or next Thursday before golf. 

Thank you, Judi, for printing and laminating our rules and local rules for each lady to have in their golf bag. This is much appreciated.

For Ladies who are going to Hawkes Nest there is a meeting after golf next Thursday.

A Charity Golf Day is being held at Breakers on 27th March all are welcome. Supporting Dementia. Tickets available in the club at the front desk. Golf 2 person Ambrose and a sit-down lunch for $70.

Mixed Foursomes on 28th Feb, 27 holes and we are still looking for some ladies to partner up.

Pennants starts on April 20th. A sheet will be passed around next Thursday for you to put your name on.

For those that new Marie Nugent we have received information of her passing.

Judi and Colleen are organizing a game of 9 holes with cart and lunch at Mangrove Mt on Friday 13th March more info to come.

Or as a few of us are also wearing Molly's favorite colour Pink/ Lavendar. Please feel free to wear either.

After the funeral there will be a gathering back at Breakers from around 3:30pm once the funeral has finished at 3:00pm.

Opening day 2025

 Hi Ladies and welcome to 2025. Thursday 30th is our last summer comp game. Hopefully we are dry tomorrow.  A reminder that 6th February is our opening day. It is a shot gun start 7.30 for 8   It is a team of 4 two scores to count so get your team organised ready to enter tomorrow. Teams with an over 80 member can see Aiki and she will put you on the First hole! The app can be used but remember for speed of play only enter the score if your result is being used. There will be team NTPs on all holes ( first shot only)and a wiggly line   The costs for the continuous comp will remain the same as last year: $25 for the main continuous comp ( for presentation day) $10 if you wish to be part of the Stableford shootout $5 if you wish to be part of the GolfNSW medal competition. Christmas Fun Day

 Well it was a Christmas Fun Day today!! We had everyone decked out in their finest Christmas gear. The weather wasn't too bad - it was hard to tell if we were wet from the rain, or wet from the humidity. The winners today were: Aiki, Sandra, Viv and Peggy Second were: Pauline, Jan C, Sue Carter and Elaine Third were : Chris B, Moya, Monica and Carol The Christmas Raffle today was a big success. Thanks to Linda and her helpers for organising this.  Colleen assisted by Bronwyn (in her game show hostess role) ran the Secret Santa. This, as always, was a lot of fun.
